Reviews and Ratings
I recently stayed at Koro Sun in Savusavu, Fiji, and while I absolutely loved the beauty of the surroundings and the friendliness of the staff, I found some aspects less than ideal. The overwater bures offered a beautiful view but lacked privacy, so I opted for the edge water bure which was fantastic. However, the dining options were limited which could be frustrating for some. Overall, it's a perfect destination for relaxation, but some areas could use improvement.
Koro Sun Resort offers an incredibly warm and authentic Fiji experience, perfect for getting away from the hustle of luxury resorts. The bures provide breathtaking views and easy access to the sea, but some could use a bit of updating. The dining options are worth mentioning for their quality and local flair, while the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. However, some guests reported booking mishaps that can be frustrating.
Our stay was a mix of wonderful moments and a few disappointments. The setting is absolutely stunning, and we had a lot of fun snorkeling. However, we faced some maintenance issues and service drawbacks that detracted from the overall experience. While dining was enjoyable, we had some miscommunication regarding menu items.
I had a lovely stay at Koro Sun, where the setting was beautiful and the staff were welcoming. The Floating Bure was such a unique experience, with fish swimming right underneath us! However, the dining options were a bit pricey and sometimes confusing, especially regarding reservations. Overall, it was a peaceful getaway with plenty of activities and a stunning view.
My stay at the resort was quite the rollercoaster, with some incredible moments and a few disappointing ones. The staff were definitely a highlight, being warm and inviting, but I found the accommodation to be lacking when it came to cleanliness and upkeep. The location was lovely, offering a nice escape in nature, but the dining options left a lot to be desired. Overall, it feels like there's a lot of potential here, but some serious improvements are needed.
